Warranty and after-sales support to keep your bike protected.

All BikTron electric bikes include a manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. If your bike develops a fault within the warranty period, we’ll help diagnose the issue and arrange repair or replacement parts as quickly as possible.

Warranty Periods (Guide)

  • Frame: 12 months — manufacturing defects (e.g., weld failures, structural deformation). Collision or modification damage not covered.
  • Fork, handlebars, folding/saddle tubes: 12 months — excludes collision damage and corrosion.
  • Motor: 8 months — manufacturing faults (e.g., short circuit, burnout). Water ingress or added/altered cabling not covered.
  • Battery & housing: 6 months — poor contact, failure to hold charge, capacity below ~60% within period. Replacement follows the original warranty timeline (no reset). No coverage for water or misuse damage.
  • Controller, charger, wiring loom, display (LCD), PAS sensor: 12 months — manufacturing defects only.
  • Headlight/taillight: 6 months — manufacturing defects.
  • Tyres: 1 month — manufacturing defects only. Punctures/impacts/low pressure not covered.
  • Consumables & wear parts (e.g., pads/rotors, brake lines, spokes, chains, cassettes, grips, pedals, racks, mudguards, small plastics, bells/shifters, shocks): typically 3–6 months for manufacturing defects only; wear, collision, or misuse not covered.

Note: Second-hand or materially modified e-bikes are not covered by warranty.

What’s Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in covered components within the stated warranty period.
  • Like-for-like replacement parts or repair guidance for confirmed defects.
  • Where pre-approved, reasonable local repair costs if we cannot arrange a technician.

What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., brake pads/rotors, tyres, chains, cosmetic marks).
  • Damage from improper assembly/maintenance, misuse, accidents, overloading, or neglect.
  • Water ingress, corrosion from exposure, or use outside stated limits/specifications.
  • Installation of incompatible parts or unauthorised modifications/repairs.
  • Units used commercially where not intended, or owned by someone other than the original purchaser.
  • Returns or repairs sent without prior authorisation.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  • Step 1: Email info@biktron.uk with your order number, description of the issue, and clear photos/videos showing the fault and the full bike.
  • Step 2: Our team will assess and respond with next steps (typically within 1–2 business days). If needed, we’ll share simple troubleshooting checks.
  • Step 3: If a part is clearly faulty, we’ll arrange a replacement or provide repair instructions. If a local repair is required, please obtain pre-approval — once approved, send the invoice and we’ll cover reasonable costs.
  • Step 4: For returns/collections, we’ll confirm packing requirements (use original packaging where possible) and provide labels or collection details if applicable.

Repairs & Turnaround

Where collection and workshop repair are required, completion may take up to approximately three weeks from receipt, depending on parts availability and workshop capacity. We’ll keep you updated throughout.

Important Notes

  • Always obtain written authorisation before returning items; unauthorised returns may be refused.
  • If a replacement battery is issued, it follows the remaining original warranty period (no reset).
  • Tyre/tube punctures, impact dents, scratches, and other cosmetic issues from transit/use are not considered manufacturing defects unless reported on delivery with supporting evidence.
  • Warranty processing may be subject to the respective manufacturer’s policies and final evaluation.
